Sarah Van Der Merwe our Head of Apprenticeships says:

As an organisation we’re committed to life-long learning. Education and training is vital to providing the best health and social care now and in the future.  We are delighted to be a registered training provider with the Skills Funding Agency and have engaged our in-house assessors and subject matter experts to develop exciting training packages that are mapped and aligned to the Apprenticeship standards.

It’s fair to say apprenticeships have changed a lot over the last few years, becoming a more and more attractive way to boost skills, extend your role and accredit your experience … so it’s certainly worth giving them another thought. If you are a levy paying organisation we can help you access the funding.

Our Learner Forum - Chaired by our Business Development Lead: Anne McAngus

We hold a quarterly learner forum for all our Apprentices currently on programme. We use this time to look at our last quarterly apprenticeship survey and discuss opinions on learning resources, materials and virtual workshops going forward.  As well as this we seek feedback from our apprentices’ on their own personal approach to their programme, sharing useful learning resources researched. These sessions are really useful and offer the apprentice a chance to network with other delegates on the same programme.
