Education and training is vital to providing the best health and social care now and in the future.  We are delighted to be a registered training provider with the Skills Funding Agency and have engaged our in-house assessors and subject matter experts to develop exciting training packages that are mapped and aligned to the Apprenticeship standards.

Level 5 Assistant Practitioner

This apprenticeship will enable you to develop the specific knowledge, understanding, and skills set to meet the national requirements to bridge the gap between the healthcare support worker and registered health care professional. It will enable you to deliver hands on care across a variety of settings. This work-based innovative Apprenticeship programme provides an opportunity for you to develop professionally and academically in order to graduate as a competent assistant practitioner.

Level 3 Senior Health Care Support Worker 

The Senior Health Care Support Worker apprenticeship is ideally suited for experienced employees who carry out a range of clinical and non-clinical healthcare or therapeutic tasks, under the direct or indirect supervision of the registered healthcare practitioner. You may work in a range of services e.g. hospital, community, health or day case unit, someone’s home, nursing or care home, assessment centre, school, prison, GP surgery; working in partnership with individuals, families, carers and other service providers. Over an 18 month period you will focus on building the skills and knowledge you need to provide high quality, compassionate healthcare, following standards, policies or protocols and always acting within the limits of your competence.

Level 2 Health Care Support Worker Level 2

The Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship is ideally suited for those who carry out a range of clinical and non-clinical healthcare or therapeutic tasks such as checking blood pressure, helping service users with daily activities such as eating, dressing and washing and monitoring overall comfort and well-being. This will be under the direct or indirect supervision of the registered healthcare practitioner. You may work in a range of services e.g. hospital, nursing or care home, assessment centre,school, prison or GP surgery and will be working in partnership with individuals, families, carers and other service providers. Over a 15 month period you will focus on building the skills, knowledge, values and behaviours you need to provide high quality, compassionate care, following standards, policies or protocols and always acting within the limits of your competence.

Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 

The Level 3 Apprenticeship in Adult Care is an occupational qualification for learners who work in Adult Care Settings in England. Ideally you are front line staff who help adults with care and support needs to achieve their personal goals and live as independently and safely as possible, enabling them to have control and choice in their lives. In addition to this as a Lead Adult Care Worker you will have responsibility for providing supervision, front line leadership, guidance and direction for others, or working autonomously, exercising judgement and accountability.

Adult Care Worker Level 2

The Level 2 Apprenticeship in Adult Care is an occupational qualification for learners who work in Adult Care Settings in England. Ideally you will be frontline staff who help adults with care and support needs to achieve their personal goals and live as independently and safely as possible, making a positive difference to someone’s life when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional or intellectual challenges, enabling people to have control and choice in their lives.
